Healthcare Professionals

Needed

In early 2011, the Municipal Economic Development Officer initiated the Greenstone Labour Market Working Group (GLMWG) which today is 34 members strong. The group acts as a conduit that brings people together, partnering with industry, agencies and government.

In December 2011 the GLMWG submitted an application to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) for Community Adjustment funding. This funding program is typically accessed to assist with re-training following an economic crisis. One key component of the Community adjustment initiative is the Healthcare Expansion Committee. The committee's main objectives are:

  • Support healthcare providers in attracting professionals
  • Expand and facilitate health-related training programs to support sector growth (e.g. Service Excellence Ambassador Training for healthcare professionals)

Greenstone looks forward to the

opportunity to showcase our healthcare

resources to you.
