Link to Environment Canada WebsiteGreenstone's climate is classified as sub-arctic, characterized by very cold winters and warm summers. Residents take pleasure in longer days with as many as 16 daylight hours in the summer and 8.5 in the winter. Greenstone has has four seasons; Spring - March to May, Summer - June to August, Fall - September to November and Winter - December to February.
 
Greenstone derives climatic data from the Environment Canada weather station at the Greenstone Regional Airport located in the ward of Geraldton.
